You Had To Be There! Mother Goose Tee

For 40 years, Edwina Williams has been Columbus’s very own Mother Goose. This shirt celebrates her and the generations of kids who grew up gathered at her feet.

The back shows Mother Goose in her flowered hat, open storybook in hand, with her goose beside her and a circle of kids hanging on every word. Underneath reads “You Had To Be There!” If you were one of those kids, you know exactly what that means.

Edwina has spent four decades bringing nursery rhymes and stories to life for Columbus children. Many of the kids who once sat and listened to her now bring their own children and grandchildren. This shirt honors her 40th anniversary as Mother Goose and everything she has given this community.
